Wales will not be participating in JESC

Eurovision Wales can exclusively reveal that S4C will not be participating in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in the foreseeable future. S4C issued a statement to us saying

"We have no current plans to take part in the Junior Eurovision Song
Contest. "

It was earlier reported that S4C would use the contest to promote Wales and the Welsh language, that has now been ruled out for the foreseeable future.

Agnes Carlsson releasing UK single

Agnes Carlsson, who participated in Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song Love Love Love will release a song in May 2009 called Release Me. The song has received some airplay. You can watch the video below.

Yesterday, the BBC uploaded Jade's official video for My Time which will represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow. At present Jade is one of the favourites to win. You can watch the video below.

Elfed Morgan Morris wins Cân i Gymru 2009 with her song 'Gofiadau' (Regrets).
Elfed won the S4C show after he won both the public and jury vote. If Wales were to enter the Eurovision Song Contest then Elfed would have progressed to Moscow in May, but as it stands Elfed's song will not be going anywhere commercially.
